Unlocking the platform’s true potential

Stillpoint Spaces was created to offer a unique blend of innovative telehealth solutions alongside a robust real-world presence. Its comprehensive suite of practice management tools aims to facilitate seamless interactions between counselors and clients while fostering a supportive community environment.

Despite its initial success, the platform faced a few challenges that called for a revamp – including an outdated user interface design, limited integration capabilities with other systems, and difficulties with the payments system.

By addressing these issues head-on, Stillpoint Spaces embarked on a transformative journey to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and ensure scalability for future growth, reaffirming its commitment to revolutionizing the landscape of digital counseling.

Innovation is not just desirable; it's imperative. Recognizing this, Stillpoint Spaces choose to partner with us to revamp its digital counseling platform.

The revamping process started with a thorough analysis of the platform’s infrastructure and codebase. One of the key findings from our technological assessment was the need to improve the WebRTC protocol for smooth real-time video communication between counselors and patients.

A Product assessment showed that crucial features required restructuring to meet user needs, and new features were essential to achieving Product-Market Fit and sustaining growth. Additionally, we unified Branding and UI across the platform and the company's website to ensure a consistent user experience.

To ensure a seamless user experience throughout the user journey, rigorous Quality Assurance testing was performed to identify and rectify any potential issues.

Building on success

After the successful revamp of Stillpoint Spaces' digital counseling platform, our collaboration continued to flourish. Impressed by the transformative results achieved thus far, they approached us to further develop their vision for seamless integration of online and offline experiences, where individuals could engage in supportive communities both digitally and in person.

Our first task was to translate Stillpoint Spaces' vision into functional requirements. We conducted cross-functional workshops to identify and roadmap key components such as forums, event management, ticketing for events, and multilingual support.

With a clear understanding of Stillpoint Spaces' business needs, our team set out to design a comprehensive system to operate their community spaces. We focused on creating an intuitive user interface that matched Stillpoint Spaces' branding and existing features. Throughout the development process, we conducted rigorous testing to ensure system stability, security, and performance. 

Leveraging our expertise and understanding of their business needs allowed us to deliver a holistic solution. Upon completion, the new system provided Stillpoint Spaces with a powerful platform to manage their real-life community spaces effectively.

  • Counselor dashboard – We optimized this toolset for managing counselor-client relations, including session notes, client directories, and conversation history, to enhance efficiency and intuitiveness in daily operations.
  • Counselor profiles – Through meticulous UX/UI redesign, we facilitated easier browsing, filtering, and selecting counselors based on individual client needs, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Client directory – The existing client management system received a much-needed overhaul, identified through workshops with counselors. Our version of the system provided enhanced resources for categorizing clients by status and streamlining client-counselor interactions, catering to the daily operational needs of counselors.
  • Video calls – Smooth and efficient video sessions between clients and counselors are pivotal for a positive user experience. Our efforts focused on enhancing the video connection functionality's security, performance, and ease of use. Additionally, enabling ad hoc sessions supported timely connections, further augmenting user satisfaction.
  • New payment system - We implemented a state-of-the-art payment system, ensuring secure and efficient transactions. This system ultimately provides both counselors and clients with a convenient payment experience. This solution allows counselors to minimize the time spent on administrative tasks and focus on providing quality care to their clients.
  • Community and events management – each Stillpoint Space location was able to run a dedicated community page highlighting their latest events, news, and announcements, with the possibility of managing ticketed events inside the platform.
